Christmas 2020 Update

Dear brothers and sisters in the Lord,

As we are close to the end of yet another year, we look back to the goodness of our God who has sutained us through a difficult time. We have all been frustrated by disease, restrictions, uncertainty and loss. Despite all this, I am more confident than ever in the steadfast love of the Lord Jesus Christ who rules over all creation and leads his church.

Our church plant has grown with new members and new visitors, many new doors for outreach have been opened, and we were once again comforted by your love, thoughtful prayer and financial support. I guess we needed a really dificult year so we could clearly see the loving hand of our Heavenly Father who sustains us. If he is with us in such a ”bad” year, how can we doubt that he will sustain us in a ”normal” year?

We look forward to 2021 for new and unexpected challenges, in full confidence that He who started working in our lives is going to continue sustaining his Church. Christ is building his kingdom and if the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it, then we should not be too troubled by other threats.

As we are now able to rest and celebrate for a few days with our extended family, we remember the incarnation of our Lord. Jesus Christ is Emmanuel, God with us, and we belong to him. We wish you all a peacefull and comforting end of 2020!
