Prayers for 2022

A new year is undeway so we are gearing up for several projects we hope to finalize this year. Because our efforts would be fruitless and meaningless without the work of the Holy Spirit, we ask you to join us in prayer for the church planting work in Bucharest this year.

Here are some of the things we are grateful for:

• We thank our Lord for his provisions and care until now

• We rejoice that we finally have an organist and that can help us sing better

• We are thankful for many open doors and opportunities to get the gospel out, even through some TV shows

Here are some of the things you can pray for:

• Pray for wisdom and perseverance in the preaching of the Gospel

• Pray for open doors to build relationships and opportunities for church growth

• Pray for a summer intern that would help Rev. Corcea with the church planting work.

• Pray for our June 11th conference on Christian Ethics with guest speakers Dr. David VanDrunen and Dr. Harrison Perkins

• Pray for a new printing run of the Heidelberg Catechism. We first published it in 2017 but now we ran out of copies.

• Pray for a second minister who would join the mission field and plant a second church. We have esrablished contacts in other cities in Romania and there might be opportunities for a core group in one of those cities.

• Pray for the European Reformed Pastors retreat this fall in Transylvania. We hope to organize another retreat that would enable us to meet, fellowship and discuss new projects.
